In September 2005, EmailLabs launched the fourth major version of its application, with key features including Web analytics and delivery reporting integrations, a dynamic content wizard and workflow task management system.
New Interface, New Look
The EmailLabs Version 4.0 enhancements were designed with a strong focus on usability, based on recommendations from a third-party design firm, who polled our clients for feedback and gathered data on their usage habits to improve ease of use of advanced features and better organize workflow.
Dynamic Content Wizard
A Wizard allows for easier formation of logic statements for dynamic content assembly and complex personalization. The wizard enables any marketer to easily create one to one email messages using a single template that dynamically assembles multiple sources of content personalized specifically to each recipient.
Technology Partner Integrations
The WebSideStory and Habeas integrations are the first of many technology partnerships that enable EmailLabs clients to achieve greater ROI from their email marketing programs.
WebSideStory/HBX – Mutual clients of EmailLabs and WebSideStory, a leading provider of on-demand digital marketing applications, can leverage data based on both Web site and email activity to target campaigns based on behavior – and create trigger campaigns on the fly.
Habeas - Integrated seedbox/delivery monitoring tool enables EmailLabs clients to improve the ROI of email marketing campaigns by assessing complete deliverability metrics while eliminating the hassle of logging in and out of separate services.
Workflow Task Management
The Workflow Task Management system enables email marketers to set up a workflow process and minimize mistakes, miscommunications and common errors. For example, a certain task can be designated as “Required”, and if the task is not completed the message cannot be sent. This feature is extremely useful for setting reminders for tasks that are often forgotten, such as setting up segmentation filters or finalizing the Text version.
Client users can also post notes with time/date stamps for other users, assign them to specific messages, and create and edit tasks in line with an organization’s business processes.
Content Library Directory System
Directory System helps users organize creative elements such as copy, images and templates, thereby supporting easy creation of complex personalized email campaigns and dynamic content.
Subfolders can be created to better organize data, images, templates and more.
Enhancers can be saved to the Content Library and reused for future messages.

A: EmailLabs provides clients with advanced email marketing software technology (ASP/hosted or installed software) that enables companies to manage and segment their lists, create and send emails and track and analyze results. We do not provide email lists or other data. Our clients, such as Trek Bikes, Olympus, Washington Mutual and hundreds of others use our technology to enhance customer relationships via their permission-based lists. The vast majority of our clients opt for our ASP (Web-based) software. We also provide professional services and support that enable our clients to greatly improve the ROI from their email marketing program.
Q: Does EmailLabs offer installed software, or just ASP (hosted/Web based) technology?
A: Yes, while the majority of EmailLabs clients prefer the ASP/hosted software model, we do offer an installed software solution for those clients who prefer to manage their email marketing infrastructure internally. |
